An October morning Psalm for my God

Living water,

Home delight,

a Light familiar,

in nestalgia’s night.

Those lonely days,

as a child,

seems that knowing Christ’s love now,

redeems the heart.

Like a dream, this life,

will soon be,

to step into Life of eternity.

The King, our love,

The Lord, the Son,

will us up

by His everlasting love.

For now, just rest

in the beauty of Reality’s shadows

because for now, we only see in part.

When war breaks out,

be prepared

to live or die,

for Christ has conquered.

Lay your life down

for the King’s delight.

If He grants us long lives,

then remember this truth:

That out of everything in life…

His love is what makes us True.
